Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Disconnect the "INPUT SPEED SENSOR" connector.
Measure voltage between terminal "2" of the INPUT SPEED SENSOR harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: approx. 2.5V

Is voltage within specification ?
YES : --> Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

NO : --> Check for open in harness. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- If ground circuit in harness is OK, go to step 2 CHECK PCM of the "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
