Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable from battery and wait for at least three minutes.

  2. Remove ignition key from the vehicle.
  3. Install a SRSCM on the bracket with the three mounting bolts.

    Tightening Torque (SRSCM Mounting Bolt):

    8-10 N.m (5.9-7.4 lb.ft)

  4. Connect the SRSCM harness connector.
  5. Install the center console.
  6. Connect the DAB, PAB, SAB, CAB and BPT connectors.
  7. After installing the SRSCM, confirm proper system operation:
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should blink for about six seconds and then go off.
