Repair procedures: Removal

NOTE: In the case of a vehicle equipped with immobilizer, perform "Key Teaching" procedure together (Refer to "IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM " ).
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly (Refer to "INTAKE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM " ).
  3. Disconnect the ECM Connector (A).

  4. Remove the mounting bolts, and then remove the ECM from the air cleaner assembly.
