Repair procedures: Installation
- Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Install the SRSCM with the SRSCM mounting bolts.
Tightening torque (SRSCM Mounting Bolt)
: 9.5 ~ 13.6 Nm (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 lb.ft)
NOTE: Use new mounting bolts when replacing the SRSCM after a collision. - Connect the SRSCM harness connectors.
- Install the floor console. (For Coupe, refer to CONSOLE . For Sedan, refer to CONSOLE .)
- Connect the DAB, PAB, SAB, CAB and BPT connectors.
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
- After installing the SRSCM, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
