Repair procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
  2. Remove the front passenger seat assembly. (Refer to the (For Coupe, refer to FRONT SEAT . For Sedan, refer to FRONT SEAT .)
  3. Remove the seat track assembly. (Refer to the (For Coupe, refer to FRONT SEAT . For Sedan, refer to FRONT SEAT .)
    NOTE: *Refer to the following table for DTC cases:
    DTC CASES

    A B1322 WCS ECU Defect
    B B1319 Required System Check
    C B1644 CAN Timeout-ACU
    D B1323 Sensor Defect

    * Case A. Remove only ECU. After replacing, perform WCS reset and DTC clear.
    * Case B. Perform WCS Reset and Accuracy check, if accuracy check result is accepted and DTC is historic, WCS can be re-used.
    * Case C. If Software Version is 1.05, remove only ECU and replace it. Otherwise, check vehicle connector and wiring.
    * Case D. Check Wiring, connectors and normal conditions. If No DTC after WCS reset and DTC Clear, WCS can be re-used.
