Repair Procedures: Removal

NOTE: In the case of the vehicle equipped with immobilizer, perform "Key Teaching" procedure together Refer to TEACHING PROCEDURES .
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly Refer to INTAKE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM .
  3. Disconnect the ECM Connector (A).

  4. Remove the mounting bolts, and then remove the ECM from the air cleaner assembly.
