Repair procedures: Removal: Notes

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds. (Refer to "STEERING COLUMN ")

Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to "CRASH PAD ")
Remove the ignition switch (A) after disconnecting the 6P connector (A).

Remove the key warning and immobilizer connector (A).

Remove the key illumination lens (A).

Remove the key illumination bulb and cover (A).

If it is necessary to remove the key lock cylinder (A), remove the key lock cylinder with key ACC.
