Repair Procedures

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds(A).




3. Disconnect the electronic steering column lock connector(A).




4. Remove the electronic steering column lock(A) after removing the shear bolts.







Installation

1. Install the electronic steering column lock.


Tightening torque :
7 - 13 N.m (0.7 - 1.3 kgf.m, 5 - 9.4 lb.ft)

2. Install the steering column.
