Repair procedures: Removal

  1. Place the shift lever into the "N" position.
  2. Remove the air duct (A).

  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly (A).

  4. Remove the battery (A).

  5. Remove the battery tray (A).

  6. Disconnect the inhibitor switch connector (A).
  7. Remove the shift cable mounting nut (B).

  9. Remove the manual control lever (B) and the washer after removing a nut (A).

  10. Remove the inhibitor assembly (A) after removing the bolts (2ea).
