Repair Procedures: Removal

Remove the console upper cover. Refer to CONSOLE .
Remove the front console assembly. Refer to CONSOLE .
Disconnect sports mode connector (A).

Remove the shift lever assembly mounting nuts (A).
Tightening torque:

18.6 ~ 27.5 N.m (1.9 ~ 2.8 kgf.m, 13.7 ~ 20.3 lb-ft)

Remove the shift cable mounting nut (A) and cap (B).
Tightening torque:

9.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
