Repair procedures: Replacement

Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to "INTERIOR " in BD group.)
Remove the shift cable (A).

Remove the retainer (A) by loosening the nut (B-2ea).
Tightening torque:

9.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

Loosen the nut (C) and then remove the cable (B) from the bracket (A) at transaxle assembly side.
Tightening torque:

9.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

Remove the shift cable inside of cab.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- When installing, set room side lever and T/M side lever to N position.
- Adjust the shift lock cable after installing.
