Repair procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to "INTERIOR " in BD group.)

  2. Remove the shift cable (A).

  3. Remove the retainer (A) by loosening the nut (B-2ea).

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

  4. Loosen the nut (C) and then remove the cable (B) from the bracket (A) at transaxle assembly side.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the shift cable inside of cab.
  6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    NOTE:
    • When installing, set room side lever and T/M side lever to N position.
    • Adjust the shift lock cable after installing.
