Repair procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to "INTERIOR " in BD group.)

  2. Disconnect sports mode connector (A).

  3. Remove the control cable (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting nut (A) and shift lock cable from the shift lock cam (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the shift lever assembly (A) by removing the bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

  6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    NOTE:
    • When installing, set room side lever and T/M side lever to N position.
    • Adjust the shift lock cable after installing. (Refer to "SHIFT LOCK CABLE (ADJUST) " in this group)
