Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Remove the engine room under cover.

    (Refer to "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  3. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

  4. Remove the mounting bolt (A), and then remove the sensor (B) from the cylinder block.
