Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the console side cover (A).

Remove door scuff trim and cowl side trim.
(Refer to INTERIOR TRIM .
Disconnect the connector (A).

Lift the vehicle.
Remove the center floor outer under cover nut (A) and then remove the sensor (B) with bracket.
