Initializing Method Of The Safety Power Window

When battery power is removed for over 5 minutes, safety power window switch needs to be initialized.

1. Pre-initializing operation of power window
   • Manual-Up/Down function is available
   • Auto-Up function is not available

     (When holding the auto-up/down switch, window operates in manual-up/down mode.)

2. Initializing method

   When the window is open, close the window by holding the switch until it is fully closed and keep it closed for at least 0.2 second.

   (Initialization may fail if the procedure is started when the window is fully closed.)

3. If the initializing state of the safety power window is in jammed status, the following condition may occur:
   • Safety function is not available.

1. If the window is moved by compulsion or if the motor has a problem, the power window switch may enter the fail safe mode for user's safety.
2. Power window operation in fail safe mode
   • Auto/Manual-Down function is available
   • Auto/Manual-Up function is not available

     (When auto/manual-up is operated, the window rises only 20mm and stops moving.)
