Repair procedures: Installation
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Alternator installation bolt:
26.5 ~ 33.3 Nm (2.7 ~ 3.4 kgf.m, 19.5 ~ 24.6 lb-ft)
- Adjust the alternator belt tension after installation.NOTE: When installing the drive belt, follow the below order.
crankshaft pulley → A/C compressor pulley → Idler Pulley → alternator pulley → water pump pulley → drive belt auto tensioner pulley.
Rotate the auto tensioner arm by turning the auto tensioner arm boss (B) counterclockwise using a wrench.
After installing the drive belt (A) to the auto tensioner pulley, slowly release the auto tensioner arm.
