Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the cable from alternator "B" terminal (A).

  3. Remove the knock sensor bracket (A).
  4. Loosen the mounitng bolt (B) and disconnect the connector (C).
  5. Remove the sensor from the cylinder block.
