ETC Test

When the engine RPM is instable or the engine suddenly stops in the idle status without DTC, inspect the ETC module operation by using GDS and perform the carbon cleaning if necessary.

1. Connect a GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Select "Vehicle S/W Management"
4. Select "ETC Test"
5. Perform ETC Test following the instruction described in the image below.
6. If the test result shows "NG", perform the ETC module cleaning.
