Repair Procedures: Removal
Ignition Coil (Cylinder #1) [Bank 1]
- Remove the surge tank.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "SURGE TANK ")
- Disconnect the Ignition Coil connector (A).
- Remove the Ignition Coil after loosening the mounting bolt (B).
Ignition Coil (Cylinder #2) [Bank 2]
- Turn the Ignition Switch OFF and disconnect the Battery Negative (-) Terminal.
- Disconnect the Ignition coil connector (A).
- Remove the ignition coil after loosening the mounting bolt (B).
Ignition Coil (Cylinder #3) [Bank 1]
- Remove the surge tank.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "SURGE TANK ")
- Disconnect the Ignition Coil connector (A).
- Remove the ignition coil after loosening the mounting bolt (B).
Ignition Coil (Cylinder #4) [Bank 2]
- Turn the Ignition Switch OFF and disconnect the Battery Negative (-) Terminal.
- Disconnect the Ignition coil connector (A).
- Remove the ignition coil after loosening the mounting bolt (B).
Ignition Coil (Cylinder #5) [Bank 1]
- Remove the surge tank.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "SURGE TANK ")
- Disconnect the Ignition Coil connector (A).
- Remove the Ignition Coil after loosening the mounting bolt (B).
Ignition Coil (Cylinder #6) [Bank 2]
- Turn the Ignition Switch OFF and disconnect the Battery Negative (-) Terminal.
- Disconnect the Ignition Coil connector (A).
- Remove the ignition Coil after loosening the mounting bolt (B).
NOTE:
- When removing the Ignition Coil Connector, pull the Lock Pin (A) and push the Clip (B).
