Repair Procedure: Removal

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

Remove the intake manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ").
Remove the knock sensor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt (B) from the cylinder bolck.
