Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the knob & boots (A) by pulling it in the direction of arrow after removing the boots from the console upper cover.

  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to "AIR CLEANER .")

  3. Battery and battery tray.

    (Refer to "BATTERY .")

  4. Remove the shift cable (A) from the bracket after loosening a nut (B).

  5. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE .")

  6. Remove the rear heating joint duct (A).

  7. Remove the shift cable (A) from the shift lever assembly.

  8. Remove the shift cable retainer (A) after loosening the nuts. Then, remove the shift cable by pulling it toward the vehicle interior.
