Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver airbag module.

    (Refer to "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING .")

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to "STEERING COLUMN AND SHAFT .")

  4. Disengage the steering wheel remote control switch assembly. (Refer to "Repair Procedures .")
  5. Loosen the screw and then remote control switch assembly (A) from the steering wheel body.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
