Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).

  3. Remove the accelerator position sensor after loosening the mounting nuts (A).

    Accelerator Pedal Sensor Mounting Bolt: 

    12.7 - 15.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.6 kgf.m, 9.4 - 10.6 lb.ft)
