Engine Mounting Bracket
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Install the jack to the edge of the lower oil pan to support the engine.
NOTE: Insert a rubber block between jack and upper oil pan.
- Remove the engine mounting support bracket (A).
Tightening torque 88.3 - 107.9 N.m (9.0 - 11.0 kgf.m, 65.1 - 79.6 lb.ft)
- Separate the reservoir tank to allow space for removing the engine mounting bracket.
(Refer to Cooling System - "RESERVOIR TANK ")
- Remove the engine mounting bracket (A).
Tightening torque :
68.6 - 88.3 N.m (7.0 - 9.0 kgf.m, 50.6 - 65.1 lb.ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.NOTE: Note the items below when repairing the engine mounting bracket or engine mounting support bracket.
- Always use new nut (A).
- Replace the engine mounting bracket bolt (B) with new one or reuse after applying the adhesive (3M 2325) on the (C) as follows.
- When installing the engine mounting support bracket:
- Remove the hardened adhesive around the engine mounting bracket stud (D).
- Reapply the adhesive (ND MICROSPHERES 1193S) on the engine mounting bracket stud (D) as show below.
