Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ").

  2. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Remove the intake manifold.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")

  4. Remove the injector foam.
  5. Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector, and then remove the sensor (A) from the delivery pipe.

    Rail Pressure Sensor: 

    30.0 - 34.3 N.m (3.0 - 3.5 kgf.m, 22.1 - 25.3 lb.ft)
