- Hybrid 6-Speed Automatic Transaxle System is equipped with internal engine clutch and drive motor.
- The engine clutch links the engine and the transaxle, and the drive motor transfers power to the Transaxle and is also used as a generator.
- When the motor is used as a generator, it generates electric energy during braking and deceleration, and the energy is stored in the high voltage battery.
- Depending on the drive condition, either the motor or the engine, or both the engine and the motor supplies drive force to the transaxle during takeoff, acceleration, or high-speed driving.
- Electric Oil Pump (EOP) is mounted on the outside of the hybrid 6-Speed automatic transaxle. It constantly supplies oil and generates hydraulic pressure.
