Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - " RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE  ".) 

  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then remove battery (-) terminal.
  3. Remove the installation nut (A), and then disconnect the fuel feed tube (B).

    Delivery pipe installation nut (↔ Fuel feed tube): 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft)

  4. Disconnect the vapor hose (A) which is connected from the PCSV.

  5. Lift the vehicle.
  6. Remove the fuel tank.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Fuel Tank") 

  7. Remove the fuel line fixing clip mounting bolt (A).

  8. Remove the heat protector (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

  9. Remove the fuel line (A).
