Repair Procedures: Removal

Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.

Remove the battery.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - " BATTERY ")
Disconnect the TCM connectors (A).

Remove the TCM (A) after loosening the bolts.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the TCM (A) after removing the nuts from the bracket.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
