Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the installation bolt and nut, and then remove the accelerator pedal module (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
