Repair Procedures: Removal

Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.

Click the "Oil-pressure Characteristics BackUp & Input (TCU Replacement)".

Remove the ECM cover (A).

Disconnect the ECM connectors (A) and TCM connector (B).

Remove the ECM & TCM bracket after loosening the mounting bolts (A).
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the TCM (B) after loosening the mounting nuts (A).
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)
