Repair Procedures: Removal

[CVVT Oil Control Valve (Exhaust)] 

1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. OCV extension wiring connector (A).
3. Release the wiring mounting bracket (B) after loosening the mounting bolt.

4. Remove the mounting bolt (A), and then remove oil control valve & extension wiring (B) from the engine.

   CVVT oil control valve mounting bolt: 

   9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

5. Disconnect the oil control valve (A) from the extension wiring (B).
