Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assemble.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " AIR CLEANER  ") 

  3. Remove the battery.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - " BATTERY  ") 

  4. Disconnect the ignition coil connector (A) and CMPS connector (B).
  5. Disconnect the FPCV connector (C).

  6. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A).

  7. Remove the vacuum pipe mounting bolts (A).

  8. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor (A).
