Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the ETC.

    (Refer to Engine Control System - " ETC (ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL) SYSTEM  ") 

  3. Disconnect the variable intake solenoid valve connector (A).
  4. Disconnect the vacuum hoses (B) from the valve.

  5. Remove the installation bolts (A) and nut (B) and then remove the valve from the surge tank.
