Repair Procedures: Removal

Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A).

Remove the mounting bolt (B), and then vertically remove the sensor from the transaxle housing.
Crankshaft Position Sensor mounting bolt:

6.8 → 9.8 Nm (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.0 → 7.2 lb.ft)
