Repair Procedures: Removal

Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Remove the battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
Disconnect the ECM Connector (A).
Remove the ECM bracket assembly (B) after loosening the mounting bolt and nuts,
ECM bracket mounting bolt/nut:

9.8 - 11.8 Nm (1.0 → 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 → 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the ECM after loosening the mounting nuts (A) and screw (B).
ECM mounting bolt/nut:

9.8 - 11.8 Nm (1.0 → 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 → 8.7 lb.ft)
