Repair Procedures: Inspection

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the HO2S connector.
  3. Measure resistance between the HO2S terminals 2 and 5 [Bank 1/Sensorl, Bank2/Sensorl] Measure resistance between the HO2S terminals 1 and 2 [Bank 1/Sensor2, Bank2/Sensor2]
  4. Check that the resistance is within the specification.

    Specification: 

    2.4 → 4.0 Ω [20°C(68°F)] [Bank 1/Sensorl, Bank2/Sensorl]

    3.3 → 4.1 Ω [20°C(68°F)] [Bank 1/Sensor2, Bank2/Sensor2]
