[knock Sensor #2 (Bank 2)]

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the LH engine mounting support bracket.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE MOUNTING ")

  3. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

  4. Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the protector.

  5. Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

    Tightening torque: 

    18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb.ft)

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
  • Install the component to the specified torques.
  • Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing.
