Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the fuel pump.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "FUEL PUMP ")

  2. Remove the fuel sender connector (A).
  3. Disconnect the pump connector (B).

  4. Disconnect the suction hose (A) after releasing the fixing hook.

  5. Remove the fixing clip (A), and then disconnect the fuel feed tube quick-connector (B).

  6. Remove the reservoir-cup (B) after releasing the fixing hooks (A).

  7. Disconnect the fuel pump motor connector (A).

  8. Remove the fixing clip (A), and then assist pump assembly (B).

    NOTE:
    1. Unhook the clip (A, B) by using an awl (C).

    2. Separate the tube (A) with the assist pump (B) by pulling it

  9. Disconnect the ground (A).

  10. Remove the fuel pump motor (B) after releasing the fixing hooks (A).

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
