Repair Procedures: Removal

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A).
Remove the sensor (B).
Engine coolant temperature sensor:

29.4 - 39.2 N.m (3.0 - 4.0 kgf.m, 21.7 - 28.9 lb.ft)

NOTE: Note that engine coolant may be flowed out from the water temperature control assembly when removing the sensor.
