Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install the shift cable retainer (A) by tightening nuts (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    11.8 - 14.7 N.m (1.2 - 1.5 kgf.m, 8.7 - 10.8 lb.ft)

  2. Install the select cable.
    1. Install the select cable (A) from the shift lever.

    2. Install the select cable to the lever pin and then insert the snap pin (A).

  3. Install the shift cable.
    1. Install the shift cable (A) from the shift lever.

    2. Install the shift cable end (A).
  4. Check that the shift lever and control shaft are placed in the "4th" position and then install the 4th fixing pin (A).

  5. Install the control cable.
    1. After pulling the holder (A) in the direction of the "P", pull the lock (B) in the direction of the "F".

    2. Push the lock (A) after installing the control cable to the control shaft and cable bracket.

    3. Insert the snap pins (A).

  6. Remove the 4th fixing pin (A).

  7. Check for proper operation of control shaft lever when operated (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, R gear).
  8. Install the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  9. Install the battery and battery tray.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

  10. Install the air cleaner assembly and air duct.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
