Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Shift transmission to "N".
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to " Removal And Installation  ") 

  3. Disconnect the position switch connector (A).

  4. Remove the shift cable after removing the nut (A).

  5. Remove the manual control lever (B) and the washer after removing a nut (A).

  6. Remove the position switch (A) after removing the bolts.
