Repair Procedures: Removal

Shift transmission to "N".
Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to " Removal ")
Remove the shift cable (A) from the bracket after removing a nut (B).

Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to " Replacement ")
Remove the snap pin (A).

Remove the shift cable (A) from the shift lever.

Remove the shift cable retainer (A) after removing the nuts (B).
Then, remove the shift cable by pulling it toward the vehicle interior.
