Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the Air Flow Sensor (AFS) connector (A).

  3. Disconnect the RCV hose (A) and breather hose (B).

  4. Remove the air intake hose (A) after removing the clamps.

    Tightening torque: 

    2.9 - 4.9 N.m (0.3 - 0.5 kgf.m, 2.2 - 3.6 lb.ft, 26.0 - 43.4 lb.in)

  5. Remove the AFS (A) after removing the mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 52.1 lb.in)
