Repair Procedures: Cleaning

Remove the ETC.
(Refer to " REMOVAL ")

NOTE: Cleaning the ETC after removing it.
Clean the pollutant in the throttle body using a soft cloth moistened with cleaning fluid.

NOTE:
- Do not spray cleaning fluid to ETC directly and use a lint free cloth moistened by cleaning fluid.
- Be careful not to wipe the coating fluid around the shaft for preventing faulty controlling idle by flow contaminant into shaft internal bearing and excessive leakage air.
Install the ETC module.
(Refer to " INSTALLATION ")
Reset the ECM adaptive values after replacing the ETC.

Perform the ETC learning procedure.
