Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the engine cover.
(Refer to " Removal And Installation ")
Disconnect the ignition coil connector (A).

Remove the engine foam (A).

Remove the ignition coil (A) after removing the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the spark plug (A) by using the socket for spark plug.
Tightening torque:

14.7 - 24.5 N.m (1.5 - 2.5 kgf.m, 10.8 - 18.1 lb.ft)

CAUTION: Be careful not to get contamination into the spark plug hole.
