Component Inspection

  1. Check the Air Flow Sensor (AFS) visually for the following.
    1. Mounting direction correct.
    2. Any contamination, corrosion or damage on connector.
    3. cleaner for restriction and excessive moisture.
    4. AFS cylinder for deforming or restriction by foreign material.
    5. Check for the contamination such as an oil contamination in the AFS inner cylinder.
  2. Check AFS signal waveform using the KDS.
