Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE:
    • When installing the CVVD actuator, insert dowel pin (B) carefully into the cam carrier hole after inserting the shaft (A).

    • Tighten the bolts in the following order.
      1. Lightly tighten the bolts.
      2. Tighten the bolt (B) to the specified torque.
      3. Tighten the bolt (C) to the specified torque.
      4. Tighten the bolt (A) to the specified torque.

  2. Perform the "CVVD Intake Adaptation" after replacing the CVVD actuator.
