CVVT Oil Control Valve (Intake)

Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the variable force solenoid.
(Refer to Engine Control System - "VARIABLE FORCE SOLENOID ")
Remove the cylinder head cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "CYLINDER HEAD COVER ")
Remove the CVVT oil control valve (A) using a socket & wrench (B).
CVVT oil control valve center bolt:

[47.1 - 52.0 N.m (4.8 - 5.3 kgf.m, 34.7 - 38.3 lb-ft)] + [25 - 31°]

NOTE:
- To prevent impurities from entering intake OCV & center bolt, wear rubber gloves.
- When removing the intake OCV & center bolt, place a wrench (B) at position (A) to prevent the camshaft from rotating.
