Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor (APS) connector (A).
  3. Remove the accelerator pedal module (B) after loosening the mounting nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 -11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
