- It measures the amount of air intake and transfers the frequency signal to ECM.
- If the amount of air intake is large, the ECM judges the vehicle is in acceleration or high load condition.
While if the amount of air intake is small, the ECM judges the vehicle is in deceleration or idle status.
By using this signal, the ECM can control EGR amount and fuel injection amount more correctly.
